Information about Taller de Músics

Taller de Músics, founded in 1979 in the Raval, was a pioneer in teaching jazz, flamenco and modern music in Barcelona. Its Flamenco School is authorised by the Departament d'Ensenyament of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and is a place to learn flamenco singing in Barcelona with teachers Anna Colom and Ana Brenes, as well as guitar.

Singing is organised into three cycles —First Cycle, Middle Cycle and Advanced Cycle— with assessment by term or year. Guitar is an individual one-hour weekly subject, with teachers including Juan Gómez 'Chicuelo', Toni Abellán and Diego Amaya. Classes are in Spanish and Catalan, and the centre, being authorised by the Generalitat, allows credits to be recognised for ESO and Bachillerato.

How we check our data

The details on this page come from the school's website and public sources, checked on the date shown at the foot of the page. We don't publish prices: they change with the course, the hours and the group, and the right one is the one the school gives you when you ask. If you're the school and want to correct or add something, write to us.
