Information about Academia Flamenco
Academia Flamenco is on the Plaza de la Merced, in the lower Albaicín, and is one of the flamenco dance academies in Granada that also teaches flamenco singing. In dance it has beginners, intermediate and advanced groups, and children's flamenco for kids aged three to eight.
The regular course runs from 17 September to 27 June, with beginners groups on weekday evenings. Besides flamenco it teaches sevillanas, Spanish dance with castanets and oriental dance, and organises classes in four-week blocks, with no separate enrolment fee.
