Escola de Flamenc del Besòs is one of the flamenco dance schools in Barcelona run by the City Council, inside the Centre Cívic del Besòs i el Maresme, in the Besòs district. As well as dance, it teaches singing, guitar and cajón, organised by level: beginners, intermediate and advanced.
It runs in term-based courses, with enrolment strictly in order of registration, and the centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 21:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00. Classes are in Spanish and Catalan, and the price, being council-subsidised, is well below that of private schools.
